Shipping pallets internationally—including to Mexico or overseas—requires heat treatment to prevent the spread of invasive pests like the brown spruce long-horned beetle and pine shoot beetle. Alberta Pallet is proud to operate one of the only CFIA-licensed kilns in the area, capable of treating new lumber, used pallets, and other wood products on-site.
This in-house capability means you don’t have to ship your pallets elsewhere for heat treatment, reducing transportation costs, shortening lead times, and increasing accessibility. Our kiln can treat up to 30,000 board feet per day, with every piece stamped for full traceability to the country of origin and production facility.

When demand outgrew our original Calgary shop, we relocated to a massive 50,000-square-foot facility in Airdrie. Today, this state-of-the-art plant produces over 1,000 pallets every day, using more than four million board feet of lumber annually while maintaining a ready stock of one million board feet to meet any order quickly.

CUSTOM CUT LUMBER
Our CFIA-licensed kiln can treat new pallets, custom pallets, and recycled/used pallets, ensuring that nearly every wood product leaving our facility is ISPM-15 compliant.
Each pallet treated in our kiln is stamped with the ISPM-15 mark, fully traceable to its origin and producing facility. This provides assurance for border inspections and regulatory compliance worldwide.
While pallets should generally be customized before heat treatment to maintain ISPM-15 certification, we can advise on design adjustments and ensure the final product meets both your specifications and compliance requirements.
